This year is special for us – we are celebrating 25 years! The Melbourne Sinfonia was formed in 1990, and became an Auxiliary of the Royal Children’s Hospital in 2004.
A big thank you to everyone who has been involved over the past 25 years. We look forward to sharing many more years of music with you.
Thank you to everyone who made Friday’s concert such a success. This includes our Musical Director Joannes Roose, all of our musicians, our regular supporters who work behind the scenes, and of course our enthusiastic audience (it was great to see many new faces). Bravo to David Soo for his superb performance of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1!
