Final concert of the year: Brahms & Sullivan

After a few weeks of rest, we’re ready to start preparing for our final concert of 2016, to be held on Friday 25th November.

We have another great program to perform:

  • Arthur Sullivan – ‘Irish’ Symphony in E
  • Brahms – Piano Concerto No. 1 with soloist Glenn Riddle

Read about Glenn Riddle on our Soloists page. Tickets can be purchased here.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks for your support

A huge thank you to everyone involved in our Beethoven concert on Friday evening. It was fantastic performing to such an appreciative audience, all for a good cause – supporting Gatehouse at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Bravo, Streeton Trio – Emma, Ben and Umberto – for your splendid performance of the Triple Concerto!

Visit our Facebook page to see some casual photos from the evening.

Thank you

To all our musicians, audience members, supporters and our musical director Joannes Roose – thank you! We hope you all enjoyed our concert on 24 June. After so much hard work it feels wonderful to share those special moments that only classical music can create.

Special congratulations to soprano Lee Abrahmsen who performed rarely heard Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été with such poise and passion. Bravo!

Mark your diaries for our next performance – an evening of Beethoven on Friday 9 September, featuring the acclaimed Streeton Trio.

If you’re not a musician, but would like to volunteer your time and skills in other ways, we’d love to hear from you too.

Thank you

A big thank you to everyone involved in our first concert of 2016. The finale of the Brahms Symphony No.2 kept our fingers moving right to the end!
