We are a friendly community orchestra of all ages and backgrounds, always looking for new players. We strive to perform high quality music while supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital.

We don’t hold auditions, but for players to feel comfortable in their ability to perform our repertoire we suggest a standard of Grade 7 AMEB (or equivalent) with orchestral experience and commitment.

Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights, 7:45pm – 10pm at Flemington Primary School. Concerts are on Friday evenings at MLC in Kew.

Our next concert is on Friday 8 September. Rehearsal dates are August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; September 6.

Donation to Gatehouse Centre, Royal Children’s Hospital

Thank you everyone for making our concert on 16th June such a successful and enjoyable evening.

Many of you know that we are an Auxiliary of The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and we raise funds for the Hospital’s Gatehouse Centre, a Centre Against Sexual Assault.

Your generosity over the last year has allowed us to recently donate $1,000 to Gatehouse. Thank you so much.

This will help Gatehouse continue supporting young people and their families affected by sexual abuse. Gatehouse provides short and long-term assessment, intervention, therapy and advocacy services. It also offers education and training to the police, legal and community services, professionals and agencies.

Thank you for supporting this very worthy cause.
