This comes a little late, but congratulations again to our friend Val Lennie, a long-standing member and supporter of the orchestra, on being a recipient in The Queen’s Birthday 2015 Honours List receiving a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to music, to musical education and to the community.
Much deserved recognition of Val’s contributions to music.
